Education in urban and regional planning
YTK offers further education and continuing professional development for professionals working in the fields related to urban and regional planning and research. YTK's courses are multi-disciplinary, aiming to bring together architects, land-surveyors, social scientists, economists etc.
YTK arranges annually an expert-programme on urban and regional planning. The year-long course is the only further education and CPD programme in its field in Finland and it has been organised since 1968. The programme covers various topics in urban and regional planning and research. It is targeted to professionals in fields related to urban and regional planning. The programme is taught in Finnish.
In addition, YTK offers thematic courses covering topical issues in planning (in Finnish), research-based seminars (in Finnish and in English) and international summer schools (in English).
